Hi Barry,
I had Windows ME on my computer for one day and reverted back to 98.

I use the camera and the program Content Management Utility that came
with it.
According to Sony and Adobe one must not only copy the m2ts video files
but also
the ones with the file extension .cmuprops which contain meta data.

To get away from a discussion between you and me I would like to relate
this to Premiere.

I understand that it may be interesting to to have information about
your clips like the
GPS position the camera can record but I have failed up to now to
understand what
Premiere is doing with this info.
The files can not be imported into Premiere and I once copied only the
m2ts files and
edited them in Premiere without a problem.
Any thoughts on this?

I also thought that it was quicker in the past to transfer the files but
maybe my computer
last night felt as old as I .
