Hi Uwe, Group, I think Adobe Bridge can use the metadata somehow, if I remember correctly from the training video.
Thinking now the transcripting part of AP 'might' use it for your own notes and help you locate different scenes (quite literally with GPS), so unless you need that, its probably a waste of time. I believe AP CS5 can actually use the data for all sorts of searches, not just GPS (if you have it). You can also add notes so other editors can find the bits that are relevant to the final cut. However, you are right, it makes no odds if you DO copy it across or not. Barry.
