This camera seems to be the latest trend of DSLR that is discussed and used in my local Video group. Rieni, what type of lenses are you using? Do you have canon lens that you use with it? I have a canon DSLR and thought it may be cost effective to reuse my canon lenses, instead of buying Panasonic specific lens.

Some months ago I upgraded to the GH2, at the same time I also bought the pro version, the AF101 and after that I imported a GH2 from the USA (the European versions have a 30 minute clip duration limit which is a pita). What can I say without hurting feelings... ok here's my personal opinion. The GH2 is the best camera ever built. It's better than the "pro" AF101 because the image is sharper and in AE mode the exposure changes are almost stepless. In the AF101 you can shoot with "auto-iris" and the exposure steps are clearly visible. AF of the GH2 is faster too. I've shot a couple of high budget productions with the two GH2s in "vibrant" mode, giving very rich beautiful colors. I was using the AF101 as audio recorder, because it has XLR connectors and absolute lip-sync and clean audio. The AF101 costs about 8 times as much as the GH2. Mine is for sale. Am also selling a brand new HMC151, used for 2 days. Rieni [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
