I got the same problem with CS4 and now with CS5.5. Someone told me HDV is partially to blame but on a recent project where this occurred, I recapture in HDV with FCP and there was no problem. I think there is something wrong with the capture utility. I am in the process of switching from FCP 7 and PP CS5.5 and I don't have everything figured out but in the future my plan is to use my Matrox MXO 2 Mini to capture in Pro Res then edit in PP.
