I always stripe my tape if my cameras are going to be turned on and off. If I am recording an event where the camera gets turned on and never gets shut off until the tape is full, I don't bother. This doesn't seem to be the source of this problem, because if I capture with FCP or with my Matrox MXO 2 mini there is never an issue. Gerry in Calgary.
