The problem with the Zoom is that the device itself doesn't stay in sync. It loses one frame once every 5 minutes or so. So you can sync it with video but after 5 minutes it will be out of sync by one frame. Many won't notice it. In fact the Zoom was very popular in many movie maker forums till someone noticed the sync problem (was that me?) and others started to notice it as well. But apparently the problem was solved with a recent firmware update. I should try that update and do some testing but it's hard to find the time.
