Thanks in advance to those who have an answer for me. I have a project that is
going to be shot 1920x1080 24p. The final video will incorporate this original
footage along with archived footage from the last ten years that was shot at
720x480 29.97i. This includes interviews, B-roll, and graphics.

What is the best work flow in Premiere CS 5.5 to accomplish editing these two
frame rates and resolutions together. How should my sequence be set up? What
will be the least painful and most efficient method. Would it be easier to
simply shoot the new footage at 29.97 (or 30fps) rather than 24? The client
really wants the new footage moving forward as 24fps (more film look), though.

The project is not going to be broadcast but will be played publicly to a large
audience (projection screens) on either DVD-Video or Blu-Ray.

Thanks very much again.
