It could be a head/tape problem. Then frames may drop which will
cause desyncing. So try cleaning your heads. You can also try start
capturing from about half a minute into your tapes, if you don't need
the first 30 seconds, because often at the start of the tape there's
a lot of distortion as well which can cause desyncing.
For these reasons I love working with card recording cams but must
say I loved the image of the Sony 1000 (I have the PD150 which is the same).
