Benjamin was unable to see the stream of mechanical reproductions   as a 
stream of information,which had of itself no effect on art,only presenting the 
information   that such and such a picture looked like this.   He also did not 
see that something may exist in no particular place and exist only by 
mechanical 
reproduction, and still be art,like   a very good web page, or parts of 
YouTube. As such the aura-the ability to take the tools which we all have at 
our 
disposal and do something amazing-still exists.
