I have been sued in something similar as part of a big baseless pile of crap. I am not saying this is baseless, what I am trying to get at is that once you are actually sued, you have to spend a ton of time, energy, thought, and money to make it go away. Those facts don't change change on the merits of the case. They get worse if the case has merit, but it is still expensive to resolve no matter how baseless. They're also claiming copyright, DMCA, RICO, CFA, and software licenses violations. They also claim mail and wire fraud related to marketing the hacked firmware.
