I did the commscope training yesterday, test is this afternoon. It was astoundingly simple stuff. The Cambium CBRS class as more detailed than CPI training. I think the commscope discount is expired as of jan 1, but you could probably talk them into it. We currently are just certifying me at cost, and everybody else is doing the free course for knowledge. I really think theyre going to change the CPI cert to be two fold component, one authorized agent and then a company owned CPI that stays with the company. basically the company takes the liability and the grants stay with the company, not the individual CPI. As it stands, if you have a tech running for a year that is your CPI, they leave, and go to another company, there is nothing to stop them from cancelling their credentials and you waking up to a down network.
