If you read the fine print you have to notify them before they give you a ship date or you are on the hook for those. Calix is not good about providing ship dates and I don’t want to get caught on it.
At some point all of these manufacturers who are asking for two and three years of PO’s are going to get caught with a shitload of excess inventory. A Purchase Order and Order Acknowledgement constitute a valid and enforceable legal contract. So all this talk of “just cancel what you don’t want” is going to become just so much BS.
