Yeah it wouldn't work if you had to run additional vlans through it. Hopefully they add q-in-q support soon. Else, they could do something like Mikrotik CRS's where you could physically separate ports into separate switchgroups.

They are awesome.  We are replacing all of our cisco and ubnt toughswitches 
with netonix switches.  The fact that they can power airfibers and some 
microwave radios is great too.  They also have way more port statistics that a 
toughswitch so you can better troubleshoot issues.
