Maybe it should let you lock out ranges rather than channels. Like X MHz to Y MHz. If any part of the channel would fall in that range, auto could not select it. Similar to how you would lock out the TDWR band, not by channel, but start and end frequency.

Agreed, in my limited experience it didn't seem like UBNT AC does as well with noise... and when you only have 5.8ghz to work with, finding a clean channel isn't always exactly easy. And if you don't have enough signal for 256qam, you're not really gaining a whole lot from AC anyhow.
