AGI will be more efficient in particular environments with particular complexity. The universe has an order to it. It’s a conceptual trap to assume the physical universe comprises all of the combinatorial possibilities of its bit space. I think NFL assumes all combinatorial possibilities where AGI assumes there are some where intelligence has utility, for example, the problem space that we currently reside in.
AGI isn’t a super/universal intelligence IMO... it's an intelligence that has general utility in the quantum thermodynamic (q)bit space in the realm of human consciousness.
