One can be destructive (uploading) and the other non-destructive (copying).  
Then they are different. Think of electrons and holes. The holes collapse after 
upload...  maybe.  Copy is just a dupe, not you.  Or a quantum upload that 
collapses the original destructively when he observes the original.
