Not biased, realistic. A grain of silicon, clump of sandstone, a granite rock generate informational energy. Informational energy changes are probably recorded in the universe as gestalt state effects, but a rock itself cannot be self aware.
Simple structures exist deterministically with only the natural free choice permitted within its relative mathematical geometry. To have qualia would require physical architecture for generating and processing qualia.
