Well, I think even ordinary GOFAI can be creative.  I have a GOFAI program
for sale, a jazz scale generator program.  You input chords and it suggests
some scales that you can use for soloing.  I only bring this up because
more than once it appears to have invented something I did not foresee.  In
other words it seems to be creative.  Now you are going to say just because
I didn't foresee it doesn't make it creative.  Well, even Turing conceded
that to pass the test it need only fool somebody into believing it was a
human.  If it looks to me like it is creative, it's creative.
