Oh I see. The reason for picking the delegate was intended to allow the officer to feel assured there was someone going to do it. Having to do some sort of mini-election before they leave seems stressful. I was imagining that in practice most officers would just go "anyone willing to do this for a month?" and choose whoever said yes. What alternative would you suggest? -- nix Prime Minister, Herald
