Could I trouble you to answer a few questions? Do you meant that the MailMerge wizard crashed? Or did OO 3.1 crash immediately after File->New-Database? Did you observe anything else wrong before the crash? For instance, I had some problems with salutations and addresses (wrong or missing) before my crash... Did you try to restart 3.1 at least once before uninstalling it? If so, did the crash report tool start or not?
