Nope, that didn't fix the problem. I've upped every single slider in
alsamixer to the max.

There is some stuff I can't figure out how to change though:

Mono Output Select currently set to 'Mic'. Should this be different? How
can I change it?

External Amplifier Powerdown and SB Live Analog/Digital Output Jack, I
can only mute/unmute these two and it doesn't make a difference either
way.

Anymore ideas from anyone?
