Hi Terry, I was outside, but only about 10 feet from my house. I think I had 6 satellites in the initial solution and 10 in view. I fired it up by itself until it found a lock and then turned it off. Then I fired up the other two and turned it back on in the same spot.
I'll turn it on by itself and time it a couple times. Once I have a good feel for it's lock time I'll try with just the RRC2 and see if it makes a difference.
