humm... you're right on that one, I may have made a mistake, not sure who didn't want to make excuses, but I do think it was the government.. you are 100% right on what you say, although government usually make excuses for anything that came from their country (which is another debate as it is stupid in itself..) but I do think the government was implied in this in some way... don't know much details about this though..

I'm not going to comment on all of this, except for the line quoted here, just to say that it is not fair to expect any excuses from the Danish government, for one very simple reason: If excuses are made, they should come from the
one(s) responsible for the publishing. The Danish government is not
responsible for that in any way because Danish newspapers are not controlled
by the government.
