Look at facts. Judges ignored many of competitors
(even did not bother to read readme, did not use
importnat functions or even run applications)
-- they do not respect people who
put in their time, skills, ideas to support Android.
We do not know, if Google is going
to do a market place -- a place people could sell
their applications. Communication with Google
is not good -- there are only a few guys (like Dan M.)
who try to answer our questions, but I feel that
it is their hobby, not Google's politics to support
developers. Look at Android Developers Blog
which has had only a few short posts.
With iPhone you can buy professional
support as a developer (it seems to be not expensive).
We do not know, if gPhone will make a hit like
iPhone.
Personally, I'm going to implement my applications
for iPhone or maybe J2ME. iPhone is a real phone
(it exists now), is very popular, has market place.
About future of Google's Android we do know much
-- but it seems not to be good (look about all this
problems with ADC).
If not ADC, I would never be interested in iPhone.
I think that many of us (ADC competitors) are thinking
about iPhone now. I wonder if it was Google's
intention to support iPhone is such a way ? ;)

Beaufort Hax
