curious if it is the same for the compass?  Either way the magnetometer
accuracy is typically the one that is important as it is strongly influenced
by nearby fields.  They are both probably calibrated by the figure 8 motion
so if the compass is off and the user performs the calibration, ideally they
will both be calibrated.
