They could have done that with my full versions too but they didn't . E-sellers will tell you that they have to refund with "signature on file" sales. However the pirates might suspect that doing so leaves a paper trail they don't want even with the Android Market. The best you can do is slow them down and the honest folks will always pay for your apps. The others? Let their karma catch up with them. It will eventually.
