Hi, I also would like to bump this topic. - I guess that OpenGL ES 2.0 API will be defined in Java layer as android.opengl.GLES20 class. - We have been able to use OpenGL ES 2.0 API through hardware bindings using JNI.
However in my understanding, it is impossible to use OpenGL ES 2.0 API with software rendering on emulator. When does Android plan to support software rendering for OpenGL ES 2.0 API?
