I don't understand your argument at all.  Read the docs (link below).  If 
you, me, Amazon or anyone wanted to make our own market that responded to 
market-intended intents, we would only have to have an Intent filter that 
handles data in the scheme(s) and pattern(s) that Google's market uses.

I'm not saying they need to make an app that handles this...they already 
did.  It's called Amazon Market, and I'm pretty sure it has Activities for 
displaying package details and publisher details the way the Google one 
does.
