Hi Manmade, Thanks for the hint, i used handbrake and tried to use the "android mid" preset. this created the video file in 480x272 resolution. this worked fine with Motorola defy which has display 480x854 and Samsung tab which is 1024x600 but gives Bar top and bottom on Samsung ace which has display 480x320. need to understand why this is happening. is there any way i can have a standard resolution which fits to displays?
