We use an integrated contact form that includes lots of information including:
Registration Id Android Device Id Premium Status Hashed Google Accounts (MD5 cypher) Phone model Android OS App version Plus a log of the "usage scenario" which contains the things the user had been doing with the app for the last few hours. This really helps in figuring out what the user is saying when they say "Not working." Another handy thing we do is in order to get to this contact form, the user has to page through about a dozen likely answers to their question. In spite of this though, quite a few users ask questions that are already answered in this list. I'm constantly surprised that people will not take the time to read the answer to their question that's right in front of them but they will sit and stew in ignorance waiting for me to copy and paste that same exact text back to them. I guess that's just human nature. -John Coryat -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Discuss" group.
