I echo Clarence's sentiments. You should respect Michael's
wishes and recognise that you don't have rights to this code
(neither do I, BTW, so I'm not saying that from a privileged
position) and it is dishonourable to appropriate it (to be more
blunt, it's theft!).

Please consider this carefully and do not sabotage the
efforts of this great project.
