There is one URL starting with httpS I use and that is the contact with my bank. I think the S stands for 'secured'. First I tried Netscape and it failed for the 'security program' in Net- scape was out of date... uploading and installing a recent version just gave a hell lot of trouble and no succes. Outlook did better but a connection with the bank needs several minutes to log in. You have to pass a lot of screens before the actual connection can be made... security, security, security. I wondered if this security business would be possible with Arachne but that would cause an awfull lot of work to MIchael. And besides banks are not willing to give details on their security measures and therefore it will be almost impossible to incorporate them into Arachne. But... the ITU is working on a world standard for a save and secure procedure on a electronic signature and security measures like that.
