It doesnt matter to me, because when I do use lynx its for these
cases when i really dont care about graphics.
But even viewing the picture externally is no good on such sites:
with tons of little images around just to make out the general
appearence of the page, would you really like to go trough each and
one anonymous picture just to see what it does? You may prefer to
go over only the ones that serve as hyperlinks, but even then
some sites now put such images that are actually meaningless icons,
which are "dynamicly replaced" by another image that explains its
fuction once you "hover your mouse above it". This trick is using
javascript, and therefor LYNX wouldnt view the alternative "explanation"
image at all - but only the first, meaningless icon.
