Hi, I realize your frustration. But this is no excuse to be throwing f*** words like that. The ppp package was updated less than 13 hours later. This isn't really a big deal. Some mirrors even got both packages at the same time. I'm not saying temporarily losing your Internet connection for half a day isn't a problem because it is. But I use pppoe as well and I managed to survive. One last thing, if you know this has happened to you before, why did you update libpcap while knowing it will break your Internet connection?
