Well correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that beryl and compiz are
considered dead projects. Compiz-fusion is the merge between the two I
believe. I am running gnome 2.0 with compiz-fusion from nesl247's repo.
How are you starting compiz-fusion? The wiki says to add fusion-icon to
the gnome-session. When I first installed compiz-fusion and started it
with fusion-icon, everything worked, but I had no window border, I just
opened up emerald-theme-manger and selected a new them, and everything
worked just fine.
