I completely disagree with ur point. While Illayaraja is gud composer, he leaves a lot to be desired as far as recognising others go. I remember umpteen interviews where he had lot of bad things to say abt ARR and how he has degraded tamil music. But wat the hell is his son yuvan doing. after 'arinthum ariyamalum', he praised the remix theepidika theepidika as revolutioary music. HELL...He is one hell of a person who never gives credit to other composer except if he is his son or daughter. I wudn't mind if ARR gives some nice shots back to him.

I am sure Rahman wouldnt credit some composer X, who could be at the top (however good or bad he may be...) 10 years from now.
