Fred - thanks for the help. I was too focused on trying to get the Java path and Xmanager window to work that I forgot to even check the Java version our Unix admins have installed on the server. Looks like the server I'm working on has Java 1.6.0_26 and some of our others still have 1.5.x versions; which concerns me quite a bit now (yikes!)! Based on the BMC doc, the user experience patch won't run without JRE 7, so I've submitted a request to our Unix team to update the version. Hopefully that will fix it.
