We're using the ITSM Suite in full (incident, change, problem. eventually
the CMDB will be active too) and the default home page is the "IT Home".
If that works in a similar manner to the regular "AR Home" page, then
having duplicated application options would cause too much confusion.

I'll see if we have an admin mid tier, that would work rather well!
