...and first you have to consider the growing number of problems with compatibility and security that are cropping up on OS X 10.5. We tested Safari 3.0.3 beta successfully against 7.1 and were eagerly anticipating the production Safari 3, but now I am in no hurry at all to trash my Macs with 10.5 until Apple gets some serious fixes out. I guess they diverted way too many resources to new handheld devices, and it not only slowed the 10.5 release but seriously impaired the quality of it. Maybe by the time we actually go live with 7.1...
