Hi,
Thank you for your response.
We use for our AR server port 1047, shouldn't the port for the server and
for the alert tool suppose to be the same?
Do I need to open a new port for the alert? I mean the port you've
specified?
Also, I tried to disable the firewall on my PC but I still couldn't
receive a pop up message (onlya message in the alert list).
Any ideas?

Re: Remedy Alert Tool

We had this exact problem after a change in our firewall rules. This runs
on port 5048 by default if I remember correctly, but the tool does not
have a port specified by default. Try configuring the alert tool options
to use the port you specified (like 5048).

Hello,

Does any one know how the Alert Tool work?
I try to pop up a message window for some users in the alert tool but the
only thing that happens is that the alert I tried to sent appear in the
alerts list but does not pop up.
Does any one use this tool?
