We changed a few years ago and have been with 2 different support companies
since then. Also, the fact that BMC had asked us to go with a third party would
suggest that this is not a factor.

Cheers,

Gary

We change support from BMC/Remedy back in February. We went with EMS and had
to go through the waiver process at that time. It was a pain but it was not a
big hurdle and the waiver was granted.

I hate to speak out of school, but BMC has changed their Support terms for 3rd
party support. As I read it, BMC will only allow 3rd party support if they
(BMC) grant a waiver for that support to the BMC customer. It appears this is
a new position as of the beginning of this year and waivers are few.

The reason I asked is that BMC will not accept our support renewal through
TuringSMI for some reason.

Cheers,

Gary

Not sure about your question. However TuringSMI intended to purchase EMS. We
got an email about a 2 weeks ago that the deal fell through.

Hi All,

Has anyone heard any rumours of a possible fallout between TuringSMI and BMC?
We're attempting to renew support but are having a few issues.

Cheers,

Gary
