FYI, we have a current workaround for copy to new on Mid-Tier using
workflow(Active Link) and it works great for us. It would be nice if BMC
adds this standard feature to a future release though!

It shouldn't be " under consideration" when the User tool is going to
die,
it should be in the next full release.

Until I hear someone say "there is a work around", I will remain
worried.

And yes some clever mid-tier webish person should be able to create a
button
that scrapes the data and uses the api to push it to a new/Submit
screen, it
seems easier and more practical for BMC to supply it(not that copy to
new
hasn't always had issues with hidden field values, but I digress).

Surprise, I do still exist and read the arslist, just been busy
recovering
from the conference and closing the books for it, H1N1, bronchitis,
starting
to prepare for the next conference (WWRUG10 likely Oct. 18-22) and
working
full time. I am now invulnerable having had every contagious desease
going
this season.

Please Note: There could be some outages coming if I find time to
purchase
the new server :-)

"Copy to New" on the web client is a known enhancement request and is
under
consideration for a future release of AR System.
