Thanks all, I must have been mistaken, then! (Plus a BMC person responded separately, suggesting it must be outside ARS.)

A little difficult for me to test since I don't think I can personally use the same outgoing mail server our Remedy server uses, but it must be spam flagging on our mail system.

legitimate notices about tickets whose field data sometimes includes
spam information.  This can cause a group to not be notified about a
