\BMC Software\ARSystem\midtier\samples ?? That’s where I see it (on multiple
servers).

It has to be there.. If its not there there may be other things I may be
worried about – like your 7.6.04 installation may not really have been
successful???

Look at your install logs for red or yellow flags.. Usually reds good enough
but sometimes a yellow may actually be a red..

** Thanks to All Gentlemen,
After the .def file import, restart arserver.exe and tomcat.exe, flushed cache
on the mid-tier config tool. Now the Object List is officially back in business
on 7.6.04 SP1... working great.

Thanks, :-)

I just tried that (importing the def) and was able to open People and search
and it displayed properly. Make sure that after importing, you flush the cache
on the mid-tier where you enabled the object list and force a new pre-load.

The only downside I see immediately is that if you defined your server in both
short and long name forms – the latter so that the Atrium Core Console will
work in both the User Tool and the web, among other things, you get a double
list. This does NOT affect the normal operation of the ITSM app (as far as we
have explored it), but it does affect the Object List.

I have imported the def file and enable it. But now when I attempt to open a
form it briefly opens and then closes; i.e.. People form. Still trying to
figure this one out; along with many other anomalies!

Hi,

You have to import the def called ARsystemMidtierObjectList.def found in the
installation directory. Then enable it in the midtier config.jsp

Kind regards

Danny

** Hello All,
Has anyone come up with a way to get our old friend "The Object List" back in
the browser for 7.6.04?
My company's user community is on the edge of mutiny without their Object list.
Thought I would run it by the experts and see if anyone had overcome this yet.

Thanks,

Jase Brandon
