Why not use the run process Application-Confirm-Group <group_ID> to test if
they are a member of the group concerned?

Hi John,

Interesting that you say this.

I saw an issue where an ITSM 6 had its ARS upgraded to 7.1 and this issue
popped up as prior to 7.1 the groups values were as you describe (but not on
every record!). Problem was fixed with a 5 minute Meta-Update script to
update said records into the correct format.

Since 7.1, ARS enforces the group list fields syntax so that "%;x;%" will
work.

Cheers

** Just wondering - what if your group is at the beginning?

Or - at the end..

$GROUPS$ like "%;1000000140;%"

I think the above query assumes your group is in the middle of a group list?

So - you would have to do something like:

$GROUPS$ like "%;1000000140;%" OR $GROUPS$ like "1000000140;%" OR $GROUPS$
like "%;1000000140"

I am not positive -- just mentioning.

I did do something similar to this recently - and I did have to consider the
case I mentioned.
