On their workstation, users need to have an AR System ODBC Data Source setup
in their ODBC Data Source Administrator. If running the report via the
mid-tier, you need a Crystal Report server.

For the report properties - from the Crystal Reports menu (and it depends
which version of CR), look for "Set Datasource Location". If you are running
CR2008, it is found under "Database". Expand "Properties". Check the User ID
the report is using - it must match the ITSM user login name and have
adequate permissions. Make sure that the "Use DSN Default Properties is to
True" - you will be prompted for the user name and password when you make
the change. Ensure that the report runs in the Crystal Reports application!
Save the report and repost to the Report form.

** No. I am not using ARAdmin user. I am using Remedy user (User defined in
CTM:People and User form).

When you say you're using the "AR System user name and password ", it almost
sounds line you're using the "aradmin" user? Which will not work.

The login you should be using is a Remedy user (ie, a user defined in the
"User" table).

you should be able to run it from Crystal. What parameter are you using and
how?

Check to see that your ODBC connection is set up correctly.

report is going to have a dynamic parameter that should prompt for the input
values. I created the parameter and saved the report. However, when I try to
run the report, it opens up the authentication window to run the report. I
type the AR System user name and password but it does not get passed from
that screen keeps asking user credentials. Has anyone experienced it?
