Just curious as to why you are so certain that Monmouth County cannot be a tourist attraction anymore. It seems ridiculous to me to have so much beachfront be used solely for residential purposes. In my opinion, part of the reason many of the other towns in the area have moved away from stressing tourism is because Asbury Park was the BIG DRAW and since it hasn't been that draw it hasn't filtered down to the other towns. What makes a tourist region in my eyes is having things like oceanfront land, boardwalks, downtown shopping areas. Asbury Park SHOULD not only be a tourist attraction, but it should be one of the best tourist attractions in the state. Yahoo!
