On second thought Tom, I will respond. Please have the cojones to name that New York brain trust, will you - it's me. However, unlike Faiella with hand up Clarke's ass moving his lips, Keady is his own man as far as I am concerned. More importantly, Keady did not allege a crime but asked for reasonable anwers to reasonable questions and I think said, "do I have to go to the prosecutor?" You obviously think it is insignificant that 1) the June 5, 2002 plan was disavowed ONLY WHEN it was determined that C-8 required demolition and it was pointed out that the June plan prohibited its rebuilding and that the city should as for a quid pro quo to amend it; 2) that the redevelopment director, the city clerk and obviously everyone in else in town considered that plan to tbe the official plan; 3) that Councilman Loffredo got up and LIED in public, not ONCE but TWICE, to favor Asbury Partners, first reversing himself on the Triangle and then that the Planning Board did not care about C-8 being rebuilt (both the planning board report and his own words on tape contradict him); and 4) that Keady has repeatedly asked for clarification and public documents to clear this up but has been rebuffed. How about when Jim Bruno told Keady in public that he would never get three votes on the council for whatever he wanted all because Keady wanted to follow Robert's Rule of Order? The coverup will be worst than the crime. This blind allegiance to ego will be their own undoing. If the majority on the council were smart they would have simply admitted the truth and acknowldged that the plan needed to be amended to rebuild C-8. They could have asked nothing in return but would have to take the heat for that. But what's the difference? They gave everything else away anyhow? What's one more thing. You probably think there was nothing wrong with selling to the Iranians to fund the Contras. If I have had something to say about you, I named you. Have the balls to do the same thing to me. I ain't stopping at the prosecutor. I begged the City not to let it come to this. Had they provided the necessary information perhaps it would be settled. If there's nothing to hide then why hide it? If elected officials and their hirlings have to do the perp walk, perhaps it will hurt this city. But perhaps if people held their officials to a higher standard than you seem to and stopped letting them get away with murder than AP politics would not have the rep it has. I would appreciate if you would stop referring to me as a New Yorker as it is an insult. What that I am an outsider?
