If you show up, maybe the council will not vote to give away the
three businesses on 4th Ave to the Partners at 2001 prices. Yes, the appraisers
for the Partners are saying AP's land values are directly related to the old
council partnering with the Partners. What about the Real Estate
Boom?
Most of you missed the last meeting when Loffredo, Sanders, &
Bruno voted to eminent domain Paradise's parking lot. The Stockholm syndrome,
the old council and the Partners.
It is said if you take away the Empress Hotel parking lot, the city is
diminishing the value of Sheap's club, hotel & property. So much for
the hot spot that help bring in so many investors &
homesteaders to AP seven years ago, even before the Partners saved
Asbury Park. How many of you became homesteaders and investors
before redevelopment started?
Loffredo, Sanders, & Bruno could not even look at Rita when they vote
yes to eminent domain her property. Johnson voted no
on both votes. The city manager did not pick-up the phone when Keady called from
San Francisco, to go on the record, to vote no on the two
votes. Other times, other council members in the past, used the phone to vote at
the meetings.
Did the Partners not get enough land and streets vacated at rock
bottom prices and the luck the sell to real developers while real estate boom is
in full swing?
