There are democrats that believe some of those things too. Most
democrats voted with Bush on the war. I admit I drank my share of kool
aid too in the aftermath of 9/11. I will not condemn Republicans and I
don't think the vote yesterday did either. If you study the voting
patterns, it was the Independent vote. The vote is a response (which
the democrats and repubs need to make good on) to Bush's "my way or the
highway." It is a condemnation on any (whichever party) who went along
with that. The American people felt that a message needed to be sent
that the mindless, lemming-like pantomime of Congress to whatever Bush
wanted must stop. More good news - Rummy steps down.
